What happens when I cancel my subscription?

Once you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to the content and features until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your access will be discontinued.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Cancelling your subscription is easy and hassle-free. Simply log in to your account, navigate to the "Subscription" section, and follow the cancellation instructions. There are no penalties for canceling at any time.

What is your subscription model?

We offer both monthly and annual subscription plans for our services. You can choose the plan that best suits your needs and preferences. We do not offer a free trial period or subscription refunds however we have lots of free lessons available so you are confident with our teaching before moving forward.

Safeguarding Policy for Simply Guitar At Simply Guitar, we are committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment for all our students. As part of this commitment, we have developed a safeguarding policy to ensure that we take all necessary steps to protect the welfare and safety of our students. This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, and anyone working with or on behalf of Simply Guitar. Designated Safeguarding Officer Greg Bakke has been appointed as the Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) for Simply Guitar. He is responsible for ensuring that our safeguarding policy is followed and that all safeguarding concerns are dealt with appropriately. I've booked a lesson. Can I reschedule it?

Yes, you can reschedule by visiting Manage My Bookings but only if the lesson is over 1 week away. We do not offer rescheduling or cancelling for lessons under 1 week from schedule.

What happens if I need to cancel or rearrange?

You may cancel or reschedule a lesson with at least 1 week's notice without penalty. This allows us to offer the timeslot to other students who may be interested in booking it. If you cancel a lesson with less than 1 week's notice, the lesson will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled. You can accrue a maximum of 4 lessons to be rescheduled at a different time. This means that if you need to reschedule more than 4 lessons, you will forfeit the remaining lessons.

What happens if my instructor needs to rearrange?

In the unlikely event that an instructor needs to reschedule a lesson, we will credit your account with a personal coupon code that can be used to book a lesson at a time that suits you. While we strive to provide ample notice, please note that in the event of a teacher rescheduling, it may be difficult to give advanced notice due to the unforeseeable nature of the circumstances. If we do need to cancel lesson, you will be notified immediately at the earliest point in which we are made aware.

What happens if we miss a lesson?

If a student misses a lesson due to illness or a school trip, the lesson is not refunded or rescheduled. In the unlikely event of a teacher absence we will rearrange the lessons for all students and come in on a different day.

How much are the lessons and how do I pay?

1-2-1 Lessons (30 Minutes) - £30 per lesson 1-2-1 Lessons (20 Minutes) - £20 per lesson Group Lessons (30 Minutes, 3 in a group) - £10 per lesson Every student gets a free trial lesson, following this we bill in advance of the half term starting.

How do the lessons work?

We do group lessons or 1-2-1 lessons at this school. They take place during the school day and we rotate the lessons so the kids don't miss the same lesson each week. We follow the school term dates!

Flex: How do I book my lessons once I subscribe?

You will receive a personal code each month that you can use to book two guitar lessons at no additional cost. When booking your lessons, be sure to use your personal code to ensure you are not charged for those lessons. You will receive your first code in your membership confirmation email on confirmation of payment. To get the most out of your Flex Membership, it's a good idea to schedule your guitar lessons in advance and use your personal code to book your two free lessons each month. This will ensure that you are using all of the lessons available to you and getting the most value from your membership. If you do have any unused lessons at the end of the month, unfortunately, they cannot be carried over to the following month. However, you will receive a new personal code at the beginning of each month, allowing you to book two more free lessons.

How long do I have to complete the course?

Our courses are self-paced and designed to be completed at your own pace, within the specified time frame for each course. There is no time limit on how long you have to complete a course, so you can take as much time as you need to work through the course content and practice your guitar skills. We believe in providing a flexible and personalized learning experience that fits your schedule and learning style. You can take breaks or revisit course materials as often as you need to, without worrying about deadlines or expiration dates. We are committed to helping you achieve your guitar playing goals, and we believe that our self-paced and unlimited course duration policy provides the best opportunity for you to learn and grow as a musician.

If you have not yet created an account, you can do so by visiting our website and selecting the "Sign Up" option.
