Guitar Lesson Agreement between Simply Guitar and _ __

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for students participating in regular [Online Guitar Lessons] with Simply Guitar. By enrolling in our online guitar lessons, you agree to the following:

Payment:

Payment for your guitar lessons is via a card subscription at simplyguitar.com.
Lesson Prices for the Entire Year:
- Standard Membership (30 Minutes): £28.35 per lesson, billed at £77.95 per month (regular time slot)
- Standard Membership (60 Minutes): £56.35 per lesson, billed at £154.95 per month (regular time slot)
- Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG): £33 for a 30-minute lesson or £66 for a 60-minute lesson

Joining Mid-Way Through the School Year:

If you join mid-way through the school year, the total remaining lessons for the year will be calculated, and your monthly cost may differ from the standard figures above.
Example: If you join in February and there are 20 lessons and 8 billing months remaining, you will be charged as follows:
- 20 lessons x £20 per lesson = £400
- £400 divided by 8 billing months = £50 per month

Lesson Schedule:

Standard Membership students will be provided with [33] lessons over the duration of the year.
Term Dates: September 4, 2023, to July 24, 2024.

Fee Schedule:

Payment for lessons is due on the 1st day of each month via card subscription at simplyguitar.com.
Billing is over 12 months, meaning if you complete the entire school year, you will be billed in August (when no lessons take place).
Option to pay over 11 months with a slightly higher monthly cost or for August in advance (same total cost) is available.

Rearranging Zoom Lessons:

As a special benefit exclusive to our online students, you have the option to rearrange your online lessons for planned absences by logging into your account and accessing the 'My Bookings' section.
Submit your rearrangement request no less than [24 hours] before your scheduled lesson.
Rearrangements can only be made to already free slots in the calendar or designated catch-up days (there are only one or two of these a year).
You must rearrange your lesson at the time of cancellation (accumulating lessons is not permitted).
If no suitable lesson time works for you, the lesson is forfeited.

Missed Lessons:

Unless the teacher is absent, all missed lessons will be charged for.
Lessons will not be refunded or rearranged in the case of short-term illness, school trips, or planned/unplanned absences (including non-emergency closures with less than 48 hours’ notice).

Teacher Absence:

If your teacher is absent, we will reschedule your lesson and notify you of the new time. If the new time doesn't work for you, you can choose another time that suits you by using the reschedule option online.

School Holidays:

No lessons will be conducted during school holidays. The 33 lessons will be taken during the weeks when school is open.

Lesson Materials:

Students are required to have their own guitar, books, and any necessary accessories, such as picks or capos, at each lesson.
Extra lesson materials and resources will be provided by the instructor online on the Simply Guitar LMS and will be communicated by your tutor.

Parental Communication:

Parents will be kept informed of their child's progress throughout the term.
Periodic updates may be provided via email or other agreed-upon communication methods.

Conduct and Behaviour:

Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner during lessons.
Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated on any level.

Lesson Termination Policy:

A full month's notice is required to finish lessons.
Upon receiving your notice, we will calculate the number of lessons your child has been given (regardless of attendance) and the amount you have paid versus the amount owed.
We will then request you pay the remaining balance via a link we send you or through BACS, whichever you prefer.
Example: Your child has had lessons from September to January, attending 10 lessons, and you have paid £209.95. If the total cost for 10 lessons is £300 (£30 per lesson), you will owe £90.05, which will be billed.

By participating in our online guitar lessons, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. Simply Guitar is committed to providing an enjoyable and enriching musical journey for all students.
